Thanks for popping by!
First of all, Congratulations. Right now you’re probably in that initial ‘oh MY gosh I’m getting married’ stage. Super exciting, and no doubt a little overwhelming.
So, you’ve decided to take the plunge. You’ve looked for the dress, started on the guest list, and where you want to dance the night away.
But what about the Ceremony? Who’s going to make this love affair of yours legal and legit? That’s where I come in.
My name is Shannon Rhondell Fleming, and I’m a registered Celebrant, approved by the Attorney Generals’ Department to help folks get hitched and conduct Civil Ceremonies throughout Australia.
Having heard “are there any young celebrants out there?” so many times, the answer now, is yes! And with over ten years of weddings under my belt, I well and truly know the ropes and what makes for a legendary ceremony.
I’m a bit of an alternative to the ‘average celebrant’. I don’t take a ‘business-like’ approach like some. I’ll be your brownie loving bestie in no time which means come ceremony day, you’ve got a friend by your side to support you while you’re making memories, not just a person talking at you.
Your wedding day should be relaxing, fun and one you won’t forget!
Being a Celebrant is more than just about the legalities of the day, it’s about having an understanding of the couple, who they are, and what’s important to them and making it a day they’ll remember.
Your ceremony is about what makes you, ‘you’. There is no point having a champagne ceremony if you’re beer kind of people. It’s my job to make it ‘your day, your way’.
Don’t want all the frills and over the top things? No prob.
Wanna take a shot of tequila after your vows? I’ll bring the lemon.
This Marriage business is a pretty important decision and not something that should be taken lightly. But, just because it is serious, it doesn’t mean your wedding day has to be. It’s ok; you can laugh, cry, snort or fist pump during the ceremony and joke about all those things that make you and your relationship unique.
Nothing’s off-limits; all you can do is ask!
